The heart of Qmata Technologies smart home system is the Ekostat™, a controller that allows the integration of multiple heat sources, distribution zones, and storage stocks, within one home or between multiple homes. Ekostat™ monitors and controls heat, airflow and humidity within the building to maintain consistent living comfort and remarkable energy efficient operation. It runs on Google’s™ Android™ platform. Nothing like it exists for the residential and light commercial market. The software design allows it to integrate to a wide range of “off-the-shelf” sensors and communication devices. In its base configuration it has the ability to scale up and accommodate much larger buildings and other functions. We have our first version successfully running a “natural thermal comfort system” in a Nanaimo, BC home.
